Had a notification that there was an update for MBTrailers, v1.3.3.5.

Are there any release notes please ??

I just changed the backdrop fetcher in it to obey the new “Max Backdrops” value we now have in the config. Some of my trailers were fetching like 20 backdrops.

  • Only just now. The problem with a change like that, while trivial to make, it will invalidate all the existing trailers so it is kinda tough to implement… – ebr 10 months ago

Looks like it’s just one change.

MBTrailers now downloads a maximum of n backdrops, n being defined in “Backdrops to Download” in the meta tab of the configurator.

Just for info, there are a few current trailers with an ampersand, “&”, in the title, and MB Trailers displays the movie name truncated to before the ampersand. I guess this is just a “special characters” issue. Don’t know if this affects anything other than the displayed movie name (backdrop fetching?)…
