Films Like This is a plug-in that allows you to bring up the context menu on any movie in your MediaBrowser collection, select “Like This…” and it will produce an index of films that match the genre(s) of the selected film based on a scoring system.
Additionally, movies with the same primary director (first one listed) will also be returned, regardless of genre matches.
This functionality is only as good as your metadata but can be very useful for finding films to watch when you are in a certain mood and want to search a little deeper than a simple genre search.
Configuration options
- There is nothing to configure for this plugin.
How it works
- navigate to a movie and use the * key to show the context menu
- Select “Like this…”
- You are new presented with an index of films that match the scoring system
