There are several ways to gain reputation:

  • Post insightful responses that get upvoted, each upvote is worth a specific amount of points.
  • As you earn badges you will gain a reputation bonus for each badge you receive. Not all badges come with a reputation bonus. “Supporter” is one for example.
  • Improve existing content, click the improve button to fix typos or expand questions, answers and knowledgebase topics. If your improvement is accepted by the owner you will gain reputation. The amount you gain will depend on the edit. This is determined by an algorithm.
