If you previously used the default option to launch Media Center at windows startup, you need to disable this.
- Start Media Center normally (do not use the shortcut we just created)
- Navigate to “Tasks” and click on this

- Click “General”

- Click “Startup and Window Behaviour”

- Deselect the option “Start Windows Media Center when Windows starts”

To confirm if all was done correctly, please reboot your machine. After the reboot Windows Media Center should start automatically after logon and you should be presented with the Media Browser EHS or initial screen. (This is optional, however.)
