I would like to personally thank all of you who have supported me and my fanart the past year and a half. I wish I could begin to tell you how many hours I've put in to my collection, but frankly, I lost count. Many of my icons have been requests from users just like yourself. Please show your support and appreciation by donating.

Xzener’s MediaBrowser Icons

These are icons I have created over the last year to contribute to the community. Most of which were specifically requested by one of you. Using your submitted requests and ideas, I used Photoshop to create them.
Have a look, if you don’t see an icon you'd like to have created, please give me a request. Please tell me what the clapper should say, for example “TV Miniseries”. Maybe even a couple picture idea’s and I'll see what I can do.
The download also includes a clapper template with the 28 Days Later font so you can try creating your own. Some of the members of the community have created a few nice looking icons themselves.

I've had multiple people asking for my genre icons to be converted to EHS icons. Well, here is my way of compromising with you. I'd like to introduce “Xzener’s MediaBrowser Icons V2”.
I'd like to thank Demonseed for teaching an old dog new tricks. He taught me a trick with Photoshop that will dramatically reduce labor time, on all my fanartwork.

MediaBrowser has come a long way since I've started using it. At first, my 2D icons looked great. But with all the awesome themes coming out, my icons (to me) started to look rather dated. So I decided it was time for a new look. I'm using my icons, giving them a little perspective, some 3D art, and topped off with a nice reflective touch. They look amazing with all themes in MediaBrowser, and I'm hoping you guys feel the same. I have spent countless hours creating these for you guys, please let me know what you think. Some constructive criticism is always welcome.
If you don’t see one that is on your EHS, don’t hesitate to request it. Let me know what the clapper should say, for example “MKV Movies” and a couple image ideas and I'll see what I can do.

Here is my collection of HDDVD and Bluray covers. Most of which were custom made from members of 9Covers.com. They look amazing in MediaBrowser in any view. I've got cropping them to a science and only take me a couple of minutes to create.
I've had many responses stating that my collection is lacking… I can’t help anyone complete their collection if they dont request them.
I also created a couple 3D HDDVD, and Bluray templates to be used with StarkCovers. It will give you the overall look and feel of my 3D covers. I've had many responses about how my 3D Covers are lacking, keep in mind, StarkCovers is a quick and easy way to get the same look.

Xzener’s EHS Backdrops

I'm always on the hunt for high resolution pictures that look amazing on MediaBrowser’s top menu screen. Here is a few that I use, and I must say, puts the icing on the cake.
Also included with the download is a “Trailer” backdrop. If you create a folder in your “General” IBN subfolder and throw this into it (named “folder.jpg”), the backdrop will appear with your trailers.
Requests
Please be sure to leave important information concerning your fanart request, such as…
- Type of icon (Genre, EHS, 3D Cover)
- Special wants (favorite action hero, movie, etc.)
Any request given can be discussed by simply clicking the “add comment” under the original request. If I have question, that’s where it will be.

You should include the click image txt in your image. I think that will look a lot cleaner.

do you use photoshop to remove the back cover…
to be honest i actually like the look of the back cover included…
- Hate to nag, but can you move this over to the discussion tab? I'd like to keep the “request” tab clean. Yeah, I trace the cover, layer via cut, delete back cover and background, trim transparent pixels and save as PNG. Done. – xzener 20 days ago

allrighty, i got photoshop. going to do some cover (3d) for my library. when done, where can i send them to you. might as well have access to them for others who may need/want them, and i have no use when i am done.
second when you trace/outline are you using the lasso. hard to get clean lines..???

good work…very clean. will use them.
as far as observations. the only neg is the blu ray/hd dvd icon. the case images in the back layer are not as sharp as the others. thats it. and thats the one i really need. the case images in the hd dvd are insane, as is the the blu ray. much sharper. better quality. thats it

Ok, had a nice day off from icon creation. My thread is as up to date as it can get. I will begin creating icons in the order they were requested. I will also fix an issue found with the “HDDVD and Bluray” EHS icons tonight. Please be patient everybody, I'm a one man team.
Remember, requests go under the “REQUESTS” tab. This is very important, when my reputation gets above 1000, I'll be able to moderate my own thread. So until then, please help me keep this thread clean.

- Be advised you can use the “Add Comment” button to add to the discussion. As for the template… Are you asking for the bluray template without the spline?? If so, you can find the PSD in the download for both Bluray and HDDVD. Hope that helps. – xzener 8 days ago

- I'm afraid I cant… It is created with one of my completed icons (no layers) and an action command (used in Photoshop) is used to automatically create the perspective and reflection. Sorry I cant help you. – xzener 8 days ago

hey xzener. my opinion is if you list the movies for which there are 3D covers ala Demonseed and big-arrickson’s boxset thread, it would be much easier to place a request.
How does every single one of my icons, have the look and feel of my EHS icons sound??
