These backdrops are pretty much done, but as always I will take requests. The download link contains zip file of the version 1 backdrops.
This series I thought I would do, well mainly because xzener was refreshing his look. So I decided to refresh my backdrops as well. These are being added on a regular basis, until they match the quantity of version 1. Then a zip file will be added.
Once I found out that the backdrops on the initial screen on all the new themes and ones with ehs disabled could change, I thought I would give these a try as well.
Thanks to Big ArrickSon for ideas on these. More are to be added.
These backdrops coincide with Demonseed and Big ArrickSon’s boxset icons. There will be another genre backdrop set to go along with their genre icons coming soon. Special thanks to those two guys for helping me find the movie pics and for their advice.
Not much to say on this set, pretty much speaks for itself. Although, this actually is probably one of my favorites that I came up with.
Thanks to anyone who likes my fanart and uses it. I really enjoy doing this and I honestly say I wouldn’t put the time and effort into something like this, if I didn’t believe in it. Without a doubt, Media Browser is the best plugin I have seen in a long time for Media Center.
As most people know, I take custom requests. So please be specific if there is a certain look you desire. Make requests in requests tab below.

Guys, just to let some of you know, I am working on some backdrops right now that are going to blow some of you away. I'm really excited about these, the amount of time and effort I have put in these will definitely show. These are the genre ones that coincide with Demonseed and BigArricksons new genre icons coming out soon. I am so pleased with these backdrops, that I might redo some of my old ones to this new method I'm doing. Anyway, hate to tease like this, but stay tuned, they are coming.

As far as boxsets go me23… Are you gonna go by Big & DS’s boxsets?? Your backdrops are awesome, we just need more of the boxset ones.

Thanks a lot for the Year Icons and Backdrops… I'm using your Sort By Genre backdrop as my startup folder backdrop and the transparency shows up… Just need a graphic that has a black “screen” so they show up better.
Also, don’t know if anyone noticed this, but if I go to 2005, I see Crash as the Best Picture… but Crash is actually classified in 2004… Is there anyway to “shift down” each year’s Best Picture? I would do it, but I'm hoping you have an easier way to do it?
Just to let some of you know, I've been pretty busy with other stuff in my life here recently. So I havent been making backdrops as fast as I would have liked. I've added a few of the boxset ones including matrix, kill bill, harry potter.
Slowly, but surely I will do more.
I stil use icons and backdrops for sorting by year, but I do not get the background pics anymore, just the year icons. Did this change with the new version of MB?

HERE is a zip of his year folder icons that go back alot further.. 1915-2015 (backdrops included where i have them, so thats why its a bigger file…)

How does one use the backdrops for genre and year or even an actor?? … When I add backdrop.jpg to the IBN folder it dosen’t show up on the MC?
Hi Me23, just organized my collection to show year as a category (starting to forget which movies we haven’t seen etc, it’s getting too big;)), great thanks to you for the oscar icons and the back drops, I picked up 2010 backdrop from above, but could I possibly ask if you could do 2011….would love to finish it off and (yes I am slightly OCD) must congratulate you on some fine work. Cheers Edit. Ooops, Just realised that 2010 is the theatrical release and 2011 winner is The King’s Speech, so…unless you have pre-cogs working for you…thanks and I’ll wait until March-April.
