Discuss Delay after end of MOV files.

I settled down today to catch up with my trailers and I have a strange problem with playing .MOVs.
I can browse fine, playback fine but at the end of the trailer, there is a massive (up to 4 minute) delay before the Done, Replay etc menu comes up. Trying to stop or exit once playback has stopped hangs MB/WMC and I have to kill it. Ridiculous for 90 sec trailers. No problem with other media types.

Using Shark Codecs and tried Gabest and Haali options with same results. Vista Ultimate and HP.

Any ideas???

I convert all mine when downloaded automatically to .avi, saves some hassle. I'm not familiar with .mov so I typically avoid them.
