I have a xbox 360 hardwired to my router but when I click on a folder (movies, tv shows, or kids movies) it just goes to a blue screen. No matter what I do restart PC or Xbox nothing happens it just never goes back unless I wait a whole day and then it comes back… but eventually freezes again after a I get done watching a movie. I have left the theme to default and I have also tried others but with no luck.

i have some suggestions

  1. turn on flow control on your NIC config
  2. disable clock in mb
  3. use diamond theme

if no difference 1. uninstall media brouser

  1. delete C:\ProgramData\MediaBrowser

  2. save metadata locally . As in create a folder for each of ur movies and use Metabrowser to get and save metadata and save it in the folder. here is a useful program that will take all the files in your movie folder and create a folders with the names of ur individual movies and put the movie file in the newly created folder automatically http://www.thehtpc.net/files/file2folder.rar BTW it is a very dangerous program if used wrong esp in a sys folder. be careful when using it but it saves a hell lot of time

  3. play with MediaBrowser on ur pc b4 starting it on ur xbox. this way the heavy processor work is done b4 you turn on the xbox.

hope this helps :–)

Perhaps your network cable is faulty?

Try resetting your router.

I suggest we mark this as stale. Andrew has not been online for 4 months.
