MediaInfo Audio Channels Icons
I’m using the latest version of MB with the Subdued theme. Downloaded the new Hydra Icons and copied them all to the IBM/Mediainfo/Subdued folder. However, the audio channels don’t show up in the item details. Is there something special I need to do to enable them?
As far as I know, Default is the only theme that shows the channels separately from the audio format. I believe that the themes need to be updated with the new mappings in order to work.
It depends on how a theme does the MediaInfo icons.
If they use the MediaInfoPanel from core they will show the new icon automatically.
This includes Diamond, Chocolate, Simplicity and Carbon. Im not sure how all the other themes do it.
I didn’t add this one to Subdued yet. On certain view styles, things were getting visually crowded if an item was displaying all 6 of the icons. I’m considering exposing options to enable/disable individual media info icons and leave it up to the user to pick a set that will fit in their particual view style and layout.
