Has anyone found a way to make a link while in EHS? Is it possible?
Thanks
Can’t give you an answer; although your remote control should have a button for live tv which must be quicker than onscreen shortcut
Yea I hear ya, that’s where I am at with it really. I just think that it is easier for someone else who is attempting to learn how to use mediabrowser + live tv from WMC to see it on the screen. And it would make mediabrowser more complete I believe.
Would be a great addition, not sure how ud incorporate it though
I think to do it from the EHS, you probably need to have a plugin.
There is a commandline switch:
%SystemRoot%\ehome\ehshell.exe /homepage:VideoFullscreen.xml /PushStartPage:True
Alternatively You could use Media Center studio and create a Favorites (or what ever else you like to call it) on the MCE start start screen, Place your most run programs (i.e: Media Brovser, Music, Pictures, Live TV) on its own strip in media center. That means that for a user, they can launch most used programs from a single strip in MEdia center. You could also hide others.
In Media Center Studio, you can make new entry points (Applications) even for exisitng ones such as Live TV. For instructions on MEdia Center Studio, just look at some turorials on the Web. For creating a new Live TV entery point, create a new “application, in the Title type "live tV” (or what ever) and just Select the live TV option on the page tab. No need for any arguments or path.. Then Drag the New Entry point to the strip you want and save the new Menu strip.
Shameless plug: go add your support for Add entry points to main menu . If implemented, this would accomplish what you’re looking for…and then some.
