Media Browser not updating TV shows RAL with new content

Is anyone else having this issue? Its still constantly not updating and i have to run the manual service and then go in press record and then go back out and in, and some episodes still do not show up.

Is there a fix for this or is it just an issue with diamond?

Yeah, i do seem to be getting this issue actually. Using Subdued Theme tho.

I find that if i know i have added a show, say, a new episode of Dexter, if i go down to the episode level for that show where it should be, then it finds it and adds it to the library. Otherwise, its a case of doing a refresh.

I’m having this issue too.

I’m not using a theme, just the standard interface with no additional plugins.

I have started to have this issue to now. Here is some info…

I am not a prolific adder of TV and I only add puchased rips when I do actually add so not sure how long this might have been a problem. The last TV I added which I know to have worked was Dexter a month and a half ago so no updates from MB during that time. I am on 2.6.1.0R. Films, Music, and Home Videos work fine. This is an issue in default theme to but I use Throgs suit.

Here you can see only two items in quick list but they are not the latest added which was Homeland Season 1 and five seasons of Breaking Bad. Only Ben 10 and Planet Earth are presented in the RAL. You will note the newly added items are seen in in the TV collection and indeed are seens in the logs.

I have carried out a full refresh as well as refresh via GUI but they just won’t show.

Added more again today and again no RAL update. Rather a frustrating issue.

@skynet600 I had a similar thing awhile back where 5-6 items were always in the ral when I checked I noticed that the added date and created date was 2097. I still to this day don’t know how it happened but I suspect it was a metabrowser or tvdb malfunction. May be worth checking the top items in your ral?

Another update for you. Seems the issue is with Music to now. I added some thirty albums the other day and the RAL is restricted to showing only two of them. That is the same number as TV funnily enough. All other collections have a long list.
