IBN plug-in source?
I tried using MCM to get my actor images but they were really low res and didn’t look right in the vanilla theme. But when I use the IBN plug-in the images look great, just that there are tons of images for actors missing! So I was wondering where the plug-in got its images so I can try and get the missing actors.
There is an ongoing project here that will help you. You will just have to wait a bit until completed. In the mean time you will need to use your metadata provider. By the way does mcm use imdb or tmdb/tvdb? Imdb has some of the better images.

When I used MCM before, they are option in the setting to get the hi-res images if I still remember correctly.
Nothing in the setting for that?

that plug-in actually fetches it’s images from theHTPC.net , Jon the owner of the site also did a actors project like the one skynet linked above, the results of which the plugin fetches.
Tho that hasnt had anything new added to it in quite some time, so it’s possible whatever your missing, are infact missing from his collection.
Im pretty sure the Maximus toolpool has got the odd logo image download issue mine used to have so you might get some non images being downloaded. give them a go if you like and if you find its got issues, perhaps have a look at some of my apps. :-D
