Bug Neo: Ctrl+W not working, plus another little bug

Hello, I’ve been configuring my Neo theme on mediabrowser these last few days and I really like the theme. But there are two things that I believe are bugs and that I’d like to share with you.

First thing, the Ctrl+W shortcut doesn’t work on Neo. It is suppose to toggle the watched/unwatched status of the selected item but it doesn’t do anything for me. However, it does work properly on Vanilla.

Second thing, I’m gonna join a picture of my screen: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/841/image00000u.jpg/ As you can see, there are two red squares at the bottom right corner of the screen, where it is supposed to be only one. It happens for a few movies in my collection, and to remove it I need to delete all meta data, refresh the mediabrowser, and recollect metadatas with mediacentermaster. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

I’m running version 2.5.2.0 R of media browser and 1.0.7.2 of Neo.

I’ve also seen the multiple squares in the bottom right hand corner. It actually appears to be related to studios the movie has. If the movie say has 2 or 3 studios listed, it tries to display all their logos and displays 1 of them and tries to squish the rest into the right.

I have about 20 movies that do this. Looking it over just now, it might actually be related somehow to the studio logo size. It seems to happen on a lot of “DC Entertainment” movies and “Paramount Pictures” movies. I can provide the xml files for you too if you need them.

Update: Here are the studio images I’m using. Coloured Studio Images Pack (by chip) – Update for Hydra. They don’t actually appear to be uniform. The Paramount one which is one of them is 211x200. The DC one is 200x200. The Carolco one is 208x200.

  • ah ok that makes a lot more sense – i will investigate further. – soultaker over 1 year ago
  • I did a little test after reading gcw07’s message, and yes it seems it is related to the number of studios. If I just remove all the studios but one from mymovies.xml and update my library the bug is fixed. – Tidiestbox over 1 year ago
  • Can you give me the dimensions of your studio images? – soultaker over 1 year ago
  • I updated the post above with a link to the studio image pack I’m using. – gcw07 over 1 year ago
  • I can’t remember which image pack I used, but my images are bigger than gcw07’s and not uniform. Warner Bros Pictures: 635x570 Paramount Pictures: 531x502 Legendary Pictures: 900x650 Lawrence Gordon Productions: no picture DC Comics: 500x500 – Tidiestbox over 1 year ago

Confirmed bug with ctrl+W shortcut.

Cannot replicate your issue, perhaps you can provide an xml file of the movies which have this issue.

  • Same problem here with “Ctrl W” as well. – Syztemlord over 1 year ago
